In Memory
Julie Carlisle Robinson
Sandy, UT - Our beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister and aunt was re-united with her son Sammy on Oct 17, 2014. Julie was born Jan. 22, 1958 in Walnut Creek, Calif. to Howard Myron and Colleen Boss Carlisle and grew up in Logan, Utah with her siblings Richard, Jana and Michael. Julie spent many summers at the family cabin in Island Park playing card games and following her dad as he fished rivers exploring the great outdoors. She had many adventurous family road trip vacations - including three months of traveling through Europe with the family when she was 19. Julie graduated from Logan High School in 1976. She moved to Salt Lake City and lived with her longtime friend Terri Champ Major while she attended the University of Utah. During this time she worked at La Caille making many friends including her good friend for many years Debbie Cooley Ramras. She married Kerry Robinson in Hawaii and was sealed with the family in the LDS Temple in August of 2002. Julie gave birth to a beautiful daughter Alexandra on January 20, 1994. Alexandra was the light of her life coming into the world two months premature and was a constant strength to her mother from that day on. Julie gave birth to a son, Samuel Kerry on September 11, 1997 who passed away from SIDS a few weeks later on October 2nd. Julie created beauty around her in many ways, decorating her home & garden, sewing beautiful clothes and making amazing dinners. She did everything for her children and is now holding Sammy in her arms that she has so longed to do. She is so loved and will be missed so deeply.

My family would like to express our deepest sympathy. What a wonderful mother, wife and friend Julie must have been. I was telling my wife, when Julie and I were in high school, Julie said, Zufelt, lets go take our drivers test. I replyed that I hadnt' studied, but Julie assured me that she would "help" me. Julie got kicked out for copying my test and we both flunked. Even today, after her passing, she still brings a smile to those who knew her. Me and my family will pray that our Heavenly Father will comfort you all in this time of loss.
