Dale Curtis Koeven, 49, passed away April 10, 2008.

He was born August 2, 1958 in Logan, Utah to Philip and LaRue Christensen Koeven. Dale was reared and educated in Logan, Utah. He married Cindy Lee Burt October 7, 1989. They were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple as a family May 20, 2004. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and he served as scoutmaster, a primary teacher, and in High Priest Group leadership. He worked at Kenworth Trucking Company and in Guest Services at Energy Solutions Arena. He was family chef, famous for his beef jerky, and was an avid sports fan, particularly fond of the Minnesota Vikings. He loved and was proud of his children.

He is survived by his wife; his daughter, Brooke Koeven; their three sons, Wyatt Koeven, Walker Koeven and Wilder Koeven; mother, LaRue Koeven; two brothers, Jarvis (Janell) Koeven and Tony Koeven; three sisters, SuSanne Hill, Julie (Russell) Larsen, Lana (Brett) Perkes, and mother and father-in-law, David and Letty Burt. He was preceded in death by his son, Jonathan; infant brother, Roger; and his father.

Funeral Services will be held 10 a.m. Monday April 14, 2008 at the Northpoint LDS Chapel, 1460 Morton Dr., Salt Lake City, Utah. Friends may call Sunday April 13 from 6-8 p.m. at Lindquist's Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E. and Sunday 9-9:45 at the Church prior to the Services.
Interment: Logan City Cemetery.
